Dear Gwinnett Quilters\u2019 Guild Friends,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Friends,
\nAnd quilting mirrors life! As quilters, we know not every
\nproject begins with clarity. Sometimes we\u2019re surrounded by
\npieces, still figuring out how they fit together\u2014but we trust
\nthat, in time, something meaningful will take shape.
\nSomehow, some way, it usually turns out better than we
\nthought it could. I do wonder what this \u201corphan block\u201d will
\nbecome someday soon\u2014maybe we\u2019re already beginning to
\nsee it take shape.
\nLast month, we had a plan regarding our meeting location that ended up a bit wonky\u2014yes, it
\nhappens! Not because we did anything wrong, but because sometimes, stuff just happens. So,
\nwe\u2019re addressing those concerns so that we\u2019re all on the same page moving forward.
\n\u2022 April\u2019s guild meeting will take place in the Fellowship Hall at Cannon UMC on the first
\nfloor, where we normally meet. Look for Gwinnett Quilt Guild signs in the parking area.
\nBoard members will inform the Cannon front desk about our April meeting location to
\nensure clear communication. Likewise, our Newsletter and Blast will continue to share
\naccurate location information.
\nThis month, we will have one program and no workshop. Instead, we invite you to stay after the
\nguild meeting as we come together to cut fabrics for our \u201cJust for You\u201d program. Bring your
\nlunch in your beautiful cloth lunch bags along with your cutting mat, and scissors or rotary cutter
\nand patterns\u2014fabric and a few patterns will be provided.
\nAlso, we are looking for a few members to join the Board. Our Nominating Committee continues
\nto seek volunteers who are willing and eager to serve. Please let Karen, Gretchen, Paula, Sandy,
\nor Robin know if you feel called to lead with us.
\nFinally, the leadership team is beginning its budget review process. If you have suggestions for
\nfundraisers or programming, we would love to hear from you. More information will be shared
\nsoon.
\nI look forward to seeing each of you on April 21st at Cannon UMC, Fellowship Hall, 1st Floor.<\/p>\n
