Tara will present the program \u201cGraphic Quilts of the 20th<\/sup> Century\u201d.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Tara is a designer, maker, enthusiast, historian, and apprentice appraiser. Quilts are her passion. When she’s not making or designing quilts, she’s studying them or studying about them.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Her work has hung in both the Benartex and the Hobbs booths at the 2018 Houston Quilt Market, in the 2019 Georgia Celebrates Quilts show, and in the 2019 Smoky Mountain Quilt show.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n She\u2019s a member of the Modern Quilt Guild, the Atlanta Modern Quilt Guild, and the East Cobb Quilters\u2019 Guild. She founded the Atlanta Quilt Study Group in 2019, and hosted their first annual Atlanta Quilt Study Symposium in September 2019. Please save your contributions until our meeting in 2022.<\/p>\n December 14, 2021***************************************************************************************<\/p>\n Zoom Meeting<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The December meeting will be by Zoom on December 14, the second Tuesday in December. The program will be a \u201cTour of Trees\u201d. Members will send pictures of their Christmas tree and\/or Christmas quilts to Carol for a power point presentation. Susan Gordon also has a Christmas Carol game and poem for the power point presentation.<\/p>\n Breast cancer pillows are still being collected. At the present the number is 411 pillows. Two hundred+ pillows have been delivered to Gwinnett Hospital.
