Gwinnett Quilters' Guild

Mommy Pads

Mommy pads are given to parents of babies that have to go into incubators after they are born.  The parents wear them inside their clothes to get the scent on them and then they are placed in with the baby, which gives them comfort.

They are a finished 4 inch square, starting off with two pieces of 41/2 inches of material, batting and then turned and sewn around the edges or quilted.
